Mac's Approach
I help Adults, Teens, & Children, to RESET unwanted thoughts, feelings, behaviours, fears, & beliefs.
My main area of specialism is Trauma; the rewiring of past traumatic events, whilst dealing with the symptoms of anxiety, low mood, grief, and low self-concept (how you feel about the self).

I aim to empower my clients with healthy coping mechanisms to cope best when life does throw those curveballs, as well as, increasing self-concept; self-worth, self-esteem, self-validation, and confidence.
​
My main modality I use, and recommend is Hypnotherapy, due to the fact, that it is fast, and effective, and creates a relaxing environment when clients are dealing with difficult subjects. When in hypnosis, it reduces the stress response, therefore, clients are calm, and comfortable. When there are difficult subjects being addressed, I open up the subject at hand, and close down within ONE session - always ending on a positive note - I do not want my clients carrying 'an open can of worms' from one week to another - so we will always finish in ONE session, once the rewiring of trauma is done.
However, if Hypnotherapy is not your first choice, I also use a blend of Life Coaching, and Talk Therapy, using techniques from my extensive box of therapy tools including; Mindfulness, Psychotherapy, Counselling Skills, Neuro Linguistic Programming, etc. I strive for my clients to enjoy their therapeutic journey, and clients, upon finishing, have relayed that they wished they had done it sooner, as it wasn't as difficult, or as uncomfortable, as they had expected.

I can help manage symptoms of anxiety, and depression by rewiring past traumatic life events, that have triggered the nervous system, whilst addressing negative self-beliefs one has developed about the self, or the outer world.

I can help grieving clients to comfortably move through the loss of their loved one, whilst gaining relief, and acceptance.
